Asbestos is a heat-resistant fibrous silicate mineral that can be woven into fabrics, and is used in fire-resistant and insulating materials such as;
Asbestos Floor and Ceiling Tiles
Asbestos Siding
Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM)
Asbestos HVAC ducting
Asbestos Piping
Asbestos Furniture Insulation
Sprayer on fire proofing and sound insulation
Brake linings
Asbestos was used in the manufacturing and insulation of buildings until the late 1970’s when it was officially outlawed due to the negative effects on people and the environment. Although asbestos fibers are microscopic and minuscule, they can and will have gigantic negative effects on your body and the environment. Some of these health conditions that asbestos can cause include;
